Wanting make fondant for the first time.?
I was thinking of trying to make a fondant covered cake for the first time. I have no special tools except a stand mixer and rolling pin. Can someone give me some tips as how to spread/place it on the cake or some simple design ideas. I was thinking about trying the marshmallow fondant. It looks the easiest with out a lot of expensive ingredents.

P.S. I love to make these little Easter sweets with the fondant. Just roll and cut it up into egg shapes and put colored jelly sweets (Jelly Tots…) for the yolk. They are sooo cute!!!
